Water lily garden

Renee and I had a big adventure bucketing across the countryside to a water lily garden in Le Temple sur Lot. We were on the scenic route, going down one lane roads past farms and through dales. All was good until we lost satellite connection. We managed to find our way with faith and a little backtracking.

This garden has been in existence for almost 150 years and does a big mail order business. There are a huge variety of types and colors.

Including these with leaves more than 3 feet across.

They have all kinds of plants for water gardens including lotus.

When they sell something they just dig it up.
We finished our tour in Prayssac where the were setting up for the night market. But we couldn't stay.
