Cabbage and Condoms

So, when the AIDS epidemic was a big problem in Thailand the government created an initiative to get more people to buy condoms. The were attempting to create an atmosphere so that purchasing condoms would be as easy as buying a cabbage.

I guess it worked because HIV rates are low, there are "anonymous" clinics where you can get treatment with out having to reveal your id and people with AIDS are not ostracized like in the past.

I'm not sure what the point of this place is, we stopped to use the happy room (toilet) and buy snacks. 

I suppose it is right up there with Ronnie's Sex Shop in South Africa. No fancy cars though.
