Cooking class


What is better than entertainment with food? While Tom went about his business I showed
up at 15 rue du Temple, the apartment of Paola, a chef from the Ritz. We first went shopping, bakery for award winning bread

the butcher for quail


Then the market for mushroom and the other veg needed to make our lunch.


We chopped the veg and preped the bird.


The 5 attendees all crowded into the tiny kitchen to watch Paola cook.


Here is the final result- salad with sautéed mushrooms, lardons and potato with a poached egg in the middle

 Here is what tom thinks is the best thing in the world- looking at fast cars. He would like to buy one of these, if we only had a place to leave it here in France. It can’t be  imported to the US.
